When I was in London yesterday, I went to Trafalgar Square to observe the two-minute silence, and ended up right at the front of the crowd, with a fairly decent view of all the politicians, celebs, sportspeople, and common-or-garden Londoners who were gathered on the steps in front of the National Portrait Gallery.
An unexpected bonus was that I managed to get a couple of close-up shots of Keira Knightley, in my best stalker/paparazzi fashion, using my mum's new digital camera. I knew it had to come in useful for something.
I did lots of other things besides, and I should probably be a lot more excited, but to be quite honest, I can't be arsed, as I have rather a nasty taste in my mouth right now.
